Steven Reiter graduated from McGill University in 2009 and has honed his engineering and innovation skills in diverse fields – including industrial automation, biomechanics research, and environmental engineering. He founded BIODE to operate at the intersection of these fields, where technological innovation meets environmental stewardship. Steven combines ingenuity, technical expertise, and a keen focus on client satisfaction to deliver outstanding results for our clients.

Maria Abdelali, PhD.
Cofounder & Senior Environmental Consultant
Maria Abdelali holds dual doctorate degrees (in physics/fluid mechanics and biomedical engineering from Université de Montréal and Polytechnique Montréal). Her extensive scientific background in fluid dynamics, image processing, and numerical simulation fuels her creative approach to environmental challenges. Maria applies multiphysics precision and environmental expertise to develop innovative analytical tools for optimizing industrial processes – particularly in industrial water treatment and remediation.
Thanks to her rigorous methodology and critical thinking, Maria has helped improve production processes and worker performance in factories with hundreds of employees. Her work demonstrates that smart engineering solutions can enhance both efficiency and sustainability on a large scale.
